3. Research Interests:

• RF/microwave/millimeter-wave circuits (high-efficiency linear microwave/ millimeter-wave solid state power amplifiers, filters etc.) and pre-distortion linearization techniques for space applications;
• High data rate (more than 1Gbps) space communications systems, deep space communications systems and inter-satellite cross links;
• Communications networks based on small-satellites (mini-satellite, micro-satellite, nano-satellite, pico-satellite) networks and formation flying;

Main Researched Projects:

Responsible for design and development works of the X band transmitter that integrated telemetry data transmission and beaconing functions for YingHuo-1 Mars Probe based on the international collaboration project during 2007-2009;

Responsible for the project supported by the 2005 Year Knowledge Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on this project, an X band transmitter with 600Mbps data rate for the satellite communications was designed and developed in September 2006.

Responsible for the project supported by the 2009 Year Knowledge Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.Based on this project, a Ka band transmitter for deep space communications systems was designed and developed in January 2012.

Member of the Space Frequency Group in the Project Center of Chinese Lunar Explorations (since December 2005-March 2008);
