On the morning of October 28, Volker Liebig, deputy director of the European Space Agency, visited CSSAR. Wu Ji, director of CSSAR, Liu Bo, deputy director of CSSAR, Liu Heguang, assistant director and part of the researchers of the Optical and Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory joined the meeting.

Mr. Liebig, who is mainly responsible for ESA remote sensing department introduced key fruits of Europe earth observation projects in recent years. The delegation also visited the Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory. It is the first time for CSSAR and ESA to conduct the formal exchanges in the field of earth observation since we started our collaboration on space science more than ten years ago.
