A Polish delegation visited NSSC

On Oct. 11, a polish delegation with members from Polish Space Agency, Polish Academy of Sciences and Polish Embassy in China, visited the headquarters of National Space Science Center in Huairou, Beijing.

Prof. WU Ji, Director of NSSC, extended his warm welcome to the visiting guests and expressed his full support to Polish-Chinese cooperation in space science in hope that the bilateral cooperation could be included into the framework of intergovernmental cooperation.

Prof. DONG Xiaolong, Assistant Director General of NSSC, made a brief introduction of NSSC and its space science missions. Ms. Hanna ROTHKAEHL, Chief of Plasma Physic Team from Space Research Centre of Polish Academy of Sciencesintroduced the space plasma activities in Space Research Center. Ms. Marta WACHOWICZ, Director of Strategy and International Cooperation Department of Polish Space Agency, introduced the Polish Space Agency and Polish space sector. Both parties engaged in talks about the possibility of joint payload cooperation in Chinese deep space exploration program.

After the meeting, the delegation were invited to visit the facilities of NSSC, including Space Science Mission Hall, the Electron Accelerators, Low Energy Ion and Electron Calibration System, etc.
